The husband and I watched this series in a mad dash to finish before he left for a week to Tennessee, and we have been talking about it and texting each other links since, like, last Thursday night. As we all may know at this point, I have a serious love for things that areContinue reading “All my thoughts on ‘The Haunting of Hill House’”

all my thoughts on this Versace show
They are not particularly ordered … There is a lot of interesting stuff going on here around the closets. Like, the obvious stuff regarding The Closet and the 90s, but also as symbols of success, of containing the things you want but can’t have, of containing things you used to have but no longer do. It’sContinue reading “all my thoughts on this Versace show”
2 week blog run: day 3
See, the hard part is thinking up something to write about. The husband is watching Wayward Pines, which really sounds like it ought to be more like Gravity Falls or Eureka, but, sadly, is not. Spoilers, kind of, coming up for Wayward Pines (which I keep wanting to call Waverly Pines, which would make a great title for my mash-up, whichContinue reading “2 week blog run: day 3”
The inevitable eulogy for Glee
So this week Glee is ending. And I’m sad. I started watching Glee in a very on-and-off kind of way–I skipped episodes, I fast-forwarded the Finn and Rachel stuff that I didn’t care about–while my friends were really into it. And then I got really into it, and most of my friends stopped watching. SoContinue reading “The inevitable eulogy for Glee”
Oh lord, she’s blogging about Glee again …
I don’t have a whole lot of theories or whatever about this season so far, but I have bullet points! (Maybe. If I can figure out how to do them.) Spoilers below for all of season 6, up to 6.06.

But that’s not what I’m going to write about today. Not exactly, anyway. No, I am going to ramble about the characters.
So remind me to never plan my kid’s birthday party for the Saturday before Easter again. Actually, remind me to just skip every part of April that isn’t his birthday, because that would make life easier. April is pure chaos. Catching up, then … First of all, because I know everyone who reads this hasContinue reading “Catching up!”
Glee 5.15 “Bash”: all my impressions (a Sam joke! even though this really isn’t about Sam)
I have Rachel thoughts … (spoilers galore for the episode, and skip the first footnote if you don’t want to read a very vague possible spoiler for the future)
Glee 5.14, “New New York,” randomnicity
Wait, I just posted yesterday, what the hell is going on?! So, Glee. I liked that a lot … and all I have are random observations. First off, though, I have to say I was disappointed not to see any talking cat-nuns or giant faces in jars in this episode. The bedbugs are not Macra.Continue reading “Glee 5.14, “New New York,” randomnicity”
Glee 5.12 and 5.13
I’m going back and forth regarding how I feel about the past few episodes of Glee, but honestly, I don’t feel like I have anything to say that’s new or exciting about them. There were a lot of great scenes, but not a very cohesive whole.
